MONUMENTAL EXPERIENCES

NIEBLA


We will start our excursion by visiting the medieval castle of Niebla and its defensive walls. We will learn about the torture techniques used by the Spanish Inquisition at the torture chambers. From the top of the castle we will get a wonderful view of the famous Rio Tinto, a red tinted river.

From the top of the castle we will get a wonderful view of the famous Rio Tinto, a red tinted river. Later, we will visit a cheese factory whose cheeses have been worldwide awarded. We will taste some of them while we enjoy different types of wines and drinks. 

 

HUELVA

We suggest you a sightseeing tour through Huelva capital city to see its main monuments. To know better some of them, we will make several stops and visit them on foot, such as: Monument to the Discovery Faith, Sanctuary of La Cinta, city centre and La Merced Bullring. Also, you will enjoy free time downtown. Feel the light of Huelva! 

 

HUELVA BY SEGWAY

Segway is an innovative means of transport that will take you anywhere with the minimum physical effort. It is electric, environment friendly, moves according to the body balance, easy to use… and the best is that it is really fun. We suggest you a tour on two wheels to discover many of the most interesting monuments in Huelva, most of them from the British period (S. XIX – XX): Port, Riotinto Wharf, Casa Colón Congresses’ Palace, English Neighborhood Reina Victoria… 

 

SEVILLE HIGHLIGHTS

This trail starts with a sightseeing tour on coach through María Luisa Park – 1929 Iberian Exhibition – and its pavilions, with a stop at Plaza de España. Once at the historical city centre, the official guide will show you the most impressive monuments in Seville, like the Cathedral and its Giralda Tower. And Santa Cruz neighborhood, where you could have lunch on your own and enjoy free time. In that former Jewish quarter, you will discover little squares, orange trees, winding alleys, flowery patios and small squares. 

 

SEVILLE ON YOUR OWN

We give you the opportunity of visiting Seville on own, a good option if you already know the city and you prefer to explore new sites, or simply discovering the capital city of Andalusia in total freedom. We transfer you by coach, and after free time we pick you up back. Our guide will give you information about the city and indications of where the main places are.

 

MOGUER

Moguer is an ancient feudal village, hometown of the Nobel Prize Juan Ramón Jiménez and of many of the sailors who shared the voyage with Columbus. In fact, the Monastery of Santa Clara happen to be one of the places where Columbus found help a for his historical ocean voyage. We will visit the Monastery and the House of Juan Ramón, as well as a traditional winery where we will try some wines of the Condado de Huelva. Besides these visits, we would enjoy the promenades with a touristic train.

 

DISTINGUISHED FIGURES OF MOGUER

The province of Huelva has been blessed with an amazing monumental heritage distributed among “white villages” with a distinctive Andalusian style, most of them ancient feudal centers. This is the particular case of Moguer, famous hometown of the Nobel Prize Juan Ramón Jiménez and of many of the sailors who shared the voyage with Columbus. In fact, the caravel La Niña was built in Moguer and the Monastery of Santa Clara happen to be one of the places where Columbus found help and encouragement for his historical ocean voyage. We will visit the Monastery and the House of Juan Ramón, and will walk though the streets and squares of the white village where one of the most famous donkeys of Spain lived: Platero.
